ECU Calibration System - VISION
This ECU calibration system is a universal vehicle/electronic control unit (ECU) calibration and data acquisition system. It is specifically designed to help calibration engineers, working in the vehicle (or dynamometer installation) to optimize and calibrate complex control strategies running onboard the most advanced automotive ECUs.
The system consists of a powerful 32-bit multi-tasking Windows® software program, VISION, and a Network Hub. Additional hardware components can be seamlessly integrated into the VISION system. These include a variety of memory emulators, data acquisition modules and measurement instruments

No-Hooks Technology for Rapid Prototyping
No-HooksT OnTarget is a rapid prototyping solution from ATI that combines the real-time ECU calibration support of VISION with the modeling abilities of MATLAB and Simulink, using the patent-pending No-Hooks technology. It enables the functionality in a base ECU strategy to be bypassed with a user generated algorithm without the need to modify the ECU's source code.

IGTM2000 - Ignition Timing and RPM Meter
The IGTM-2000 is a universal Precision Ignition Timing Measurement Instrument designed for use in the engine development/testing environment where ignition timing accuracy (steady-state and transient) is important. It provides an easy means for data acquisition systems to collect actual real-time measured ignition timing on most engines.
Engine Signal Interface
Engine signal interface is straightforward. The ignition spark can be detected using an inductive spark plug wire sensor, connection to the ignition coil primary, or connection to the ignition module coil trigger logic signal. Crankshaft reference position can be provided by a number of methods including user-installed and production engine position sensors. For most applications, installation can be simplified by connecting the IGTM-2000 in parallel to existing position sensors used by the production Engine Control Module (ECM).
Intelligent Signal Conditioning
Microprocessor controlled Intelligent Signal Conditioning can automatically identify the input signal levels. Threshold and hysterisis levels are dynamically adjusted by the IGTM-2000 to minimize interference under all operating conditions. This is especially effective when using magnetic sensors with varying signal amplitudes. Alternatively, all signal conditioning parameters can be manually preset by the operator. All parameter settings are retained in non-volatile memory (when operating power is removed.)
Timing Patterns
Compatibility with most "patterned" (i.e. missing/extra tooth) crankshaft position signals is provided. Popular automotive patterns are pre-programmed and additional custom patterns can be easily programmed by the operator. Maximum achievable transient timing measurement accuracy is always obtained for any given reference pattern.

SmartTach - RPM Meter
The SmartTach is a universal Speed Measurement Tool for measurement applications such as Engine RPM, Vehicle Speed, Chassis Dyno Roll Speed, Frequency, Period, Pulse width, and Duty-Cycle.
Installation is easy : All that is needed is a repetitive pulse signal and DC power. The SmartTach has microprocessor controlled intelligent signal conditioning which can automatically identify its input signal levels and configure itself dynamically. Typical input signals sources include magnetic sensors, optical shaft encoders, and ignition coils. The TS1 TachSensor in an integrated part of the system. The TS1 allows for a certification approved non-intrusive Engine RPM measurement of all automotive spark ignition engines, including DIS, Coil-on-Plug, and Multi-Strike ignition systems. Using the conveniently located configuration parameters, the SmartTach can be user-programmed with information such as the type of measurement, the engineering units to display, the number of pulses from the sensor, and the scaling of the analog output.
